Getting the correct fit for your dog’s collar and harness is an important step to keeping them happy, healthy and comfortable while out on dog walks.
We always advise measuring your dog before buying them a new collar and harness to ensure you get the correct fit.
Using a soft measuring tape, measure their neck at the widest point leaving space for two fingers to fit between the tape and the neck so it’s not too tight. If your dog is between sizes, we suggest going up a size.
Use a soft measuring tape to get the following measurements:
Chest: Wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, which is usually just behind its front legs.
Lower neck: Wrap the tape around your dog’s lower neck, which is below the upper neck where the collar sits.
Tip: If your dog is between sizes, we suggest going up a size.
